About Misandi
I am a compassionate, patient and approachable tutor who genuinely believes that every student has potential. As a younger tutor, I can relate easily to students while still providing knowledgeable and structured teaching. I encourage students to talk openly about challenges that may feel overwhelming and help them stay motivated. I am a member of County Choir, regularly attend singing lessons and perform in concerts. I have experience singing a wide range of genres, including pop, hip-hop, Western, Eastern and Sri Lankan music, allowing me to make lessons enjoyable and varied.

Every lesson is personalised to each student’s ability, interests and goals. As a friendly and supportive tutor, I build a positive relationship with my students and encourage them to feel confident. I currently study Pearson Edexcel GCSE Music and consistently achieve Grades 8–9. Lessons will be interactive and enjoyable, combining singing, musical theory and fun activities rather than simply writing notes. I will also listen to students’ concerns, help them overcome difficulties and motivate them when they feel discouraged.
