About Chloe
With 12 years of piano teaching experience and nearly 300 students trained, I provide lessons that are structured, goal-oriented, and inspiring. I work with high school students, college learners, and adults, helping them strengthen technical skills, develop musicality, and perform with confidence.
My teaching philosophy emphasises clarity, discipline, and steady improvement. I focus on posture, hand coordination, finger independence, scales, chord transitions, rhythm accuracy, and sight-reading. I also encourage students to express themselves creatively and connect emotionally with their pieces.
I tailor lessons to each student’s pace and goals, providing regular feedback and setting clear objectives. Many of my students have achieved excellent results in graded examinations and performed successfully in recitals, school concerts, and public events.
I aim to create a positive and supportive environment where students feel motivated, inspired, and confident in their piano journey.

My piano teaching methodology is built on Adaptation to Learning Styles, Flexibility, Collaboration, and Positivity. Every student learns music in a different way. Some students understand better by listening, some by reading sheet music, and others by physical demonstration. I carefully observe each student and adjust my teaching style to match their learning preference. This helps them feel confident and comfortable during lessons.
In piano lessons, I focus on building strong fundamentals such as posture, hand position, rhythm, sight-reading, and musical expression. I break down complex pieces into small, simple sections so students can master them step by step. I remain flexible in pacing, understanding that every learner grows at a different speed. If a student needs more time, I support them patiently.
Collaboration is an important part of my approach. I encourage students to share their musical interests and goals. Together, we choose suitable pieces that challenge them while keeping lessons enjoyable. I create a positive environment where mistakes are seen as part of learning, not failure.
In addition to piano, I can also teach music theory, basic keyboard skills, ear training, and music appreciation. These subjects strengthen overall musical understanding and improve performance skills. My goal is to help students not only play piano well but also develop confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for music.
