Matthew has helped our 16 year old son significantly improve his understanding of GCSE mathematics - he improved his technical knowledge, his confidence and his appreciation of what questions were 'getting at' so which techniques needed to be applied. Matthew is friendly and got on well with our son.

Matthew is an organised, understanding and very clever tutor who knows exactly how to progress someone of any ability into the highest grades. He puts effort before, during and after the session to ensure that I understand all concepts and problems without any issues. He has a special talent of being able to explain a very complicated mathematical problem into a very simple and easy to understand question. This not only allows me to answer the question correctly, but also provides me with confidence when attacking complicated scenarios. Matching his mathematical expertise, he is an very kind and down to earth man who dedicates his time and effort into helping others achieve more. His attention to detail and passion that he has for the subject is also a factor of his success, guaranteeing the highest grades and understanding. I now feel ready to go onto university and study mathematics without any doubt in my abilities.

Throughout this year, I've struggled massively in A-level mathematics, which worried me due to my university offers being higher than I thought. I was almost at the point of giving up after trying many techniques to increase my progress. However, ever since one of my teachers called up Matthew to tutor others and I this subject, I've seen a massive improvement fastfold. Our skills in answering hard questions has ascended and my confidence in my uni offers has gone up too. I really like the idea of someone near my age tutoring me due to the fact that I can relate to the person and understand the way he communicates the questions to me. His intellect in mathematics always makes not regret trusting him to get the right answer and I really recommend his sessions to everyone.
