About Tallula
My name is Tallula, and I am currently still in education at college myself. Because I’m still studying, I understand what it feels like to learn new topics, prepare for exams, and sometimes struggle to find the most effective way to revise. This helps me connect with students in a real and practical way, especially when preparing for English SATs.
I want to teach because I enjoy helping others build confidence in their abilities, especially in reading and writing skills that are essential for success both in exams and beyond. I believe learning should feel clear and achievable, not overwhelming, and I aim to explain things in a way that makes sense to each individual student. My goal is to support students so they feel more confident, more capable, and better prepared for their exams.

My English lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I focus on building strong foundations in reading, writing, spelling, and comprehension, while also helping students develop confidence in expressing their ideas clearly. Lessons are interactive and adapted to suit different learning styles, using a mix of practice questions, discussion, and creative activities to keep students interested and motivated. My aim is to make English enjoyable and less overwhelming, helping students improve their skills while feeling proud of their progress.

Details
My tutoring rates are £14 per hour for standard lessons. I also offer discounted lesson packages, with a 5-hour block priced at £65 and a 10-hour block priced at £130, making longer-term learning more affordable and consistent. For online learning via webcam, my rate is £12 per hour. I also offer a free 45-minute introductory lesson so students can get a feel for my teaching style before committing. Please note that I do not travel, so all sessions are either online or arranged remotely.
