About Lydia
I’m an Economics tutor with more than 7 years of experience helping students explore the connection between mathematics, finance, and economic decision-making. I hold an MSc in Economics and specialize in quantitative reasoning and financial analysis. My passion is helping learners understand how economic models influence real-world financial systems. Economics becomes much more interesting when applied to real data.
My lessons often focus on interest rates, investments, and risk analysis. These topics explain how financial decisions are made in markets and businesses. I frequently use case studies and financial modeling to illustrate key ideas. Students work with real economic data to understand trends and patterns.
I enjoy guiding students through the mathematical reasoning behind economic models. This helps them see how numbers influence economic outcomes. Analytical thinking becomes stronger.
Understanding the link between economics and finance can open many opportunities. I aim to help students develop this perspective. Let’s explore how economic thinking shapes financial decisions around the world.

My teaching approach is centered on helping students understand Economics through practical thinking and clear reasoning. Economic ideas become easier when they are linked to real-world financial situations. In my lessons, we discuss topics such as interest calculations, investments, budgeting, and inflation. These ideas explain how money moves in daily life.
I use simple models and examples to explain economic concepts step by step. Students analyze real-world case studies and financial data. This makes learning active and interesting. Numbers begin to tell a story.
I also introduce topics like financial planning, opportunity cost, and market behavior. These subjects help learners understand economic choices and financial responsibility. Logical thinking improves.
I support motivated learners who enjoy solving complex problems and exploring deeper economic ideas. Together we build strong analytical skills and confidence. Over time, students learn how to make smarter financial decisions. Economics becomes useful far beyond the classroom.
