About Hazel
I am a French tutor with more than 3 years of experience helping teenagers connect with the language naturally. I hold a PhD in French Linguistics, giving me expertise in both linguistic structure and modern usage. My teaching makes French relevant to teens’ lives.
I incorporate French youth culture in every lesson. We use popular songs, social media posts, and teen movies to explore vocabulary and conversational expressions. I teach slang, informal phrases, and everyday idioms so students sound authentic. Lessons are lively and relatable.
Classes are hands-on and engaging. We analyze content, role-play scenarios, and practice real-life communication. Grammar and vocabulary are always connected to practical use. My goal is to foster confidence, connection, and lasting enthusiasm for learning French.
