About Krystal
I am Teacher Krystal, a Mandarin tutor who teaches children and adults from zero Mandarin background. I enjoy helping non-Chinese speakers learn Mandarin in a clear, patient and practical way. I can teach HSK, daily conversation, reading, writing and school preparation. I especially like helping children build confidence before entering Chinese school or SJKC. My goal is to make Mandarin feel less scary and more enjoyable for every student.

My Mandarin lessons are suitable for children and adults with zero Mandarin background, especially non-Chinese speakers. I focus on building strong basics in pronunciation, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading and writing. I also teach HSK preparation and help children prepare to enter Chinese school or SJKC. My teaching style is patient, clear and encouraging, with lessons personalised to each student’s level and learning needs.
