About Athena
Hi there. My name is Athena and I am currently taking a gap year, therefore I am looking to teach some students. I have experience of teaching GCSEs and EPQs but I now mainly focus on economics super curriculum. My lessons aim at extending your economics/finance knowledge beyond the school syllabus, so they can show your passion for the subject and are extremely useful in personal statements and for interview preparations.

I plan and set goals for each of my lessons. Economics lessons: I have a pack of sample essays and short answers that are checked by senior examiners for solid quality. Essays are 24/25 or full mark, and the short answers are all full mark. These are essential for students to understand what the exam board are looking for and produce answers that can hit the marking criteria every sentence. EPQ lessons (note: I only help with EPQs on humanities topics) I started to teach students since year 11, and one of them leaped from a C to A in 4 months.
