My approach is of an individual nature. All people, especially children, learn differently.
I aim to start by getting to know my pupils and then adapting my teaching to engage and benefit that student (or small group where needed).
I believe in hands on learning as well as putting the learning into a clear context.
I am a quallified Primary school teacher who has recently returned from teaching and travelling in Asia.
I have an in depth understanding of then British National Curriculum.
My enthusiasm of learning teamed with my patient approach enables me to support children through areas they might find more challenging.

Hadleigh CPS is a large three form entry school within the rural setting in Suffolk. They have around 560 children enrolled at the school, from nursery to year 6. As a whole school approach, they specialise in Talk4Writing across English; Maths Mastery via the NCETM Maths Hub, as well as the Accelerated Reader Program. Reciprocal reading has is also being introduced across the school after having been trialed in year 4 for the previous two years, where I was part of the team who adapted it to fit our school and create an assessment. I also worked closely with the mathematics team to implement Maths Mastery, via the White Rose Maths Hub, across the whole school, offering training to colleagues with Smartboards to enhance the use of technology within mathematics.
My specialism within the school was SEND. I worked as part of the school’s SEND team assisting the SENDCo in monitoring, adapting and improving SEND across the school.
