About Mohamed
Hello, I'm Mohamed. I'm an encouraging, patient tutor based in Plymouth, dedicated to helping learners build confidence and achieve their goals in a calm, supportive setting. I combine formal teaching training with years of practical mentoring: I hold the Award in Education and Training (AET) and a Master of Research in Digital Arts and Technology from the University of Plymouth, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education. Outside the classroom I've spent over four years as a support worker helping autistic and ADHD young people and adults, and I volunteer as a learning facilitator running creative art workshops for school groups at The Box museum in Plymouth. I believe learning should feel structured, accessible and positive, with every lesson moving at the student's natural pace. I also hold a full, clean UK driving licence with my own transport, so I'm happy to travel to students across Plymouth as well as teach online.

My lessons are calm, patient and built around how each student learns best. I hold the Award in Education and Training (AET) and taught university students during my postgraduate studies at Plymouth. I also bring over four years of hands-on support work with autistic and ADHD young people and adults, so SEND learners get low-pressure, structured sessions paced to them. For Primary and KS2/KS3 students I focus on core subjects and steady study routines that build real confidence. For Art, Design and Creative Digital Technology I encourage visual thinking and practical skills, drawing on my experience running art workshops for school groups at The Box in Plymouth. I hold current Safeguarding and Duty of Care training and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service. I also cover Foundation Maths and Science for younger students building study confidence. My up-to-date Careskills Academy certificates cover Safeguarding Children, Safeguarding Adults, Duty of Care, Equality and Inclusion, and Autism Awareness.
