About Aviva
I’ve been teaching Mathematics for over 8 years, and I hold a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics. My focus is on preparing IB and A-Level students for exams with confidence and clarity. I believe in teaching concepts thoroughly, so students gain true understanding rather than surface-level memorization. My lessons include multiple problem-solving strategies to foster flexible thinking. Past paper practice is a cornerstone of my approach, building exam familiarity and reducing stress. I specialize in Algebra, Geometry, and Statistics, and I take care to make these subjects clear and approachable. I tailor my teaching style to match each student’s pace and needs. Many of my learners have gone from struggling with basics to achieving top results. I create a supportive environment where mistakes are seen as learning opportunities. My goal is to help students develop both mathematical skills and self-belief. I encourage persistence, curiosity, and independent thinking. Over time, these habits lead to mastery and confidence. Together, we will turn difficult problems into manageable challenges. You can achieve the success you’re working toward in math.

Math becomes easier when it is connected to the world of coding. That is the heart of my teaching approach. I guide learners through algorithmic thinking, discrete mathematics, and computational processes in a clear way. Programming analogies help explain complex concepts in simple terms. This creates a strong link between math and digital problem-solving. I work especially well with students who like building or analyzing systems. For an Architect type of learner, I show how math creates structure. For a Proof Seeker, I highlight the logic behind every solution. Lessons are relaxed but focused on steady progress. Each idea is broken down so learners can follow step by step. I encourage critical thinking and communication in every session. Feedback is consistent, building both confidence and accuracy. My goal is to help students feel comfortable discussing math in practical, digital contexts. Together, we’ll make math part of everyday problem-solving.
