About Ilja
I am a graduate student of Educational Sciences at Leiden University. For the past four years, I have been tutoring primary school students, high school students and students. I also supported the Remedial Teacher at a primary school. In total I had about 20 permanent students. I have the most experience in helping primary school students with spelling, reading comprehension, language and math. I also learned to read with young children.

The most important thing I think is that the atmosphere for the student, the parents and for me is relaxed. There is work to be done, but I try to ensure that everyone has a good time at the end of the lesson. I use examples a lot and try to place the subject matter in the real world. This makes it clearer for the students why they are learning something.
