Persian/Swedish painter with art education from Italy invites you into her colorful world of oil, acrylic and watercolor painting. Courses are available in both Persian and English languages.

About Maryam
Maryam was born in Mashhad in Iran and as a young girl she had an interest in the old persian poems, music and paintings. She has lived in Sweden for 12 years, eventually becomming a line manager in the field of computer network engineering, for a big IT company. For many years she practiced her art in her freetime, and long dreamt of taking her art to the next level, by studying it in Italy. In 2021 she decided to take the leap of faith into art, and to live of art, as an artist. Planned as a stepping stone for her art career, she took a year of study at the Florentine artschool Lorenzo Di Medici, which she has nearly finished now with top grades, and is now eager to persue her new career. Maryam has achieved a broad range of skills, from ceramics to printmaking, but most of her work is done in oil and watercolor painting, which often boasts a colorful and dreamlike color palette. Maryam has a great interest in mixing old iconography, from ancient Persian history, with her love for abstact painting, and to bring the ancient stories and figures of old Persia back to life.

All levels are welcome to my course.
I expand your creativity and the power of your imagination,I take you through the colorful journey of creation with different mediums such as Watercolor, Oil, Acrylic, oil pastels , Charcoal and Mixed Media.
In Watercolor you are going to learn how to paint different elements in the nature such as clouds or trees and landscape in general, how to create textures and light with different techniques.
If watercolor is your chosen subject, expect to produce many paintings with me, as the swift and magical nature of watercolor allows for stunning art pieces in a short time span.
In Oil painting, I can teach you Baroque techniques, portrait and various techniques of creating atmosphere and landscape.
If you want to experiment with different styles and techniques, I will show you just how crazy it can get, when you mix all sorts of mediums and techniques!
