About Pebble

I am a qualified German and French teacher with 6 years teaching experience. I have taught from Year 5 up to Year 13 in a British, German and a British International School in Munich. I also have experience teaching adults up to B1 Level. My native language is English but I speak only German at home with my German husband. Taking a break from teaching full-time whilst my daughter is so young.

About the lesson

I like to begin each new working relationship with a free consultation in order to establish what the individual would like to achieve and what their current level is. We would then agree on an action plan and then I would prepare personalised lessons with those aims in mind.

Perfect! As a complete German beginner Pebble has been fantastic. I have had lessons with her for several months now and made far more progress than I ever expected to in that time. She has really well prepared lessons and been able to link it to a workbook and various other exercises to do in the week. She's also very happy to tailor lessons to my interests and areas I want to focus on. I've also really appreciated her ability to provide context and cultural background as we go along, with some great film recommendations (and songs) that have really helped.

Pebble's response
Thank you for the lovely review! It’s such a pleasure to teach Lauren and Ben. They are so motivated and are really keen to explore all aspects of the language. I’m so impressed with the progress which they have made in only a few months and it’s all down to their hard work and determination to become fluent German speakers.
