About HYUN

I earned a master's degree from Keio University in Tokyo, where I studied on a full scholarship and made the Dean's List. I then spent more than a decade at a broadcasting station in Japan and Korea.
Today I am studying law (JD) in Sydney, and I bring the same care, preparation, and reliability to every lesson. I have taught and mentored students of many ages and levels, and I know how to make Japanese feel clear, practical, and achievable :)

About the lesson

With my master's degree from Keio University and years of experience working in Japan, I teach Japanese as it is really spoken.

◆My approach
- 'Tailored lessons' built around your goals and level
- 'Speaking from day one', with clear and kind feedback
- HSC: follows the NSW syllabus, with a focus on the 'oral exam'
- Conversation: real-life Japanese for travel, work and daily life
- Short practice tasks between lessons for 'steady progress'

◆Lesson length
- 60 minutes (90 minutes available for HSC prep)
- In person in Sydney or online

◆Qualifications and experience
- Master's degree from Keio University, Tokyo
- Native-level Japanese, native Korean
- 10+ years at TV broadcasters in Japan and Korea
- Many years of teaching and mentoring students
- Currently studying law (JD) in Sydney

◆Who my lessons are for
- 'HSC Japanese' students, especially oral exam prep
- Beginners of all ages
