About Robin
Born and raised in Paris, I spent most of my life there before moving to London for my degree. I come from a French-Vietnamese-Russian background which is I know quite uncommon but always makes an interesting story to tell. (I do not speak Russian nor Vietnamese :( ) I have taught subjects of any kind since high school, and love transmitting my knowledge to anyone patient enough to listen to my infinite "fun facts" list. My approach residing in always simplifying subject as much as the auditors need until they get it, with as much patience as needed. I know that practice makes perfect, so I generally focus more on making people talk and think rather than exercises on paper. I moved to London at age 19, my 10 years of academic English and the cultural shock / learning curve of English was quite an experience. In that I understand how hard it can be for learners to immerse themselves in another culture, especially the French one known for subtlety. I want to help you navigate our ways and be familiar with the French frogs traps. After 6 years in London and hard-earned diploma, I want to share again my knowledge and help anyone who wants to learn about my language and culture. I am founding my startup now and am doing this to support it, so I am sure we will never run out of subject to talk about!

The best way to learn is to practise and be in a friendly environment, and I am a very friendly chatty person. As we progress I will try to find fun and creative ways to communicate to make you practise (text messages, letters, vocal messages) so that you become confident in the classics of interpersonal communication. Lessons will be relaxed, with a method tuned to your needs. The first session will be to assess what you want, your levels, getting to know each other and where we should go forward after. I am keen to teach to any ages, my methodology being focused on patience and adaptability. We can start from scratch or build upon your level, we will structure your lessons around your needs and progress!
