About Marcos

I am Chilean, born and raised in Gran Concepcion, I like to describe myself as a lover of life, I am an international pastry chef with experience in Germany and New Zealand, world traveler and amateur wine taster. At the end of 2017, I decided to immerse myself in the world of education, entering the career of pedagogy in English at the Catholic university. Since 2019 to date I have worked as a freelance private English teacher, teaching private, individual and group English classes, designing, adopting, and adapting educational material and didactic resources.

About the lesson

I focus on the knowledge of the student and his goal in the language. I use the communicative approach to language teaching, with activities based on the achievement of teaching objectives. My classes are adapted to the needs, objectives and realities of each student, identifying their previous knowledge and thus effectively advance to the required level of English.
