About Kirsten
I have worked as a teaching assistant in secondary and primary schools. I have also worked as a History teacher and pastoral tutor in a college in London.
Most recently, I am working as a student recruiter at a London University. My experience allows me provide students with applying for university, writing personal statements, and preparing them for the change from college to university.
I have provided tutoring to students in GCSE English who were studying Othello.
I have worked at the Jewish Museum as a learning team member and taught workshops on topics such as Jewish religion and the war.

I teach using a range of methods. I use PowerPoint, Group presentations and one to one meetings to discuss what area the students are struggling with.
A less conventional method I have found for studying difficult Histories is to use comic books and graphic novels which show the events in the past in a new way which may be easier to understand.
