About William
Welcome! I’m here to make math clear, approachable, and even enjoyable. Whether you’re tackling Algebra, Statistics, or both, I believe that understanding the why behind every formula is the key to mastering math — not just memorizing steps. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and results-driven. I break complex topics into manageable ideas, encourage questions, and help students build both confidence and competence. I’ve worked with students of all levels — from those struggling with the basics to those preparing for exams — and I know that everyone learns differently. That’s why I customize each lesson to fit your pace, goals, and learning style. I create a welcoming, mistake-friendly environment where no question is too small, and progress is always the priority. When you learn with me, you won’t just prepare for the next test — you’ll develop long-lasting skills that make future learning easier and more intuitive. If you’re ready to transform math from frustrating to understandable, I’m here to help you every step of the way!

Concept Before Calculation
I focus on making sure students understand why something works, not just how to apply formulas. For example, before solving linear equations, we discuss what the equation represents visually and logically.
Step-by-Step Problem Solving
Math anxiety often comes from skipping steps, so I encourage writing out full solutions at first. Once a student’s comfortable, we talk about shortcuts and mental math strategies.
Visual & Applied Learning
Especially for Statistics:
I use real-world data sets (like sports stats, survey results, or social media trends) so students see how the math applies to real life.
For Algebra, I rely on visual graphs and interactive tools so students see the relationship between equations and their graphs.
Mistake-Friendly Environment
I actively encourage students to make and discuss mistakes. Identifying where they went wrong sharpens both math intuition and exam confidence.
