About Miriam
I know what it's like to not have a subject come easily. I always had to work hard yet was eternally scared of asking for help, so the fact that you're here means you're already way ahead of where I was when I was in your shoes, which is wonderful. I logged teaching experience during graduate school. The bulk of it was biochemistry, chemistry, and mammalian physiology. My research experience includes work in the fields of DNA nanotechnology, color and flavor chemistry, studying membrane proteins in E. coli, and most recently, entrepreneurially driven cancer research with a focus on devices and engineering. I'd categorize my scientific experience as "broad." With my research on pause due to COVID-19, I'd like to help folks succeed in this new learning environment.
