About Sean
What is important to you? What is your preferred learning style? What are your interests, hobbies, favorite subjects, talents? Learning about you as a person and a learner is the first step in understanding how to make the material we are learning connect for you specifically. Everyone has challenges, and some subjects are just complex, but when we can move past the anxiety and internalized messages about capability, we can discover together what you're really capable of. When we do that, I guarantee you'll be surprised just how much you can achieve.

I have extensive experience tutoring students from all different backgrounds and abilities. During graduate school, I volunteered tutoring middle and high school students in a variety of subjects in a group foster facility.
I'm a skilled communicator and students tell me that I have a unique aptitude for making ideas simple. I will begin with an assessment of a student's knowledge, background, and strengths. I try to build on the knowledge students already have and connect on a level that makes sense for them.
As a former US gov employee, I hold a security clearance that required extensive background checks, so you can rest easy knowing I am trustworthy, knowledgeable, and will put in the work to help you or your student succeed.
