About Jayden
I am a PhD candidate at the University of Liverpool and I'm eager to pass on my love for science to students.
I started Medical School at the University of Liverpool in 2018 and completed three years prior to intercalating in an MRes in Cancer Biology at the University of Bristol. After achieving a Distinction in my Masters, I furthered my scientific interest by starting a PhD, where I focus on studying bowel and pancreatic cancer metastasis. Following the completion of my PhD in 2026, I will finish two more years of Medical School and graduate as a qualified medical doctor.

Biology can be tough, and I recognise that every student learns in a different way. I am keen to get to know my students in order to provide a personalised approach to teaching. My focus is to maximise the grades of who I teach by helping them to not just understand, but master the mark scheme. My methods include a mixture of interactive sessions, past papers, and question banks on difficult topics.
I have previously tutored Biology GCSE for two years, and my undergraduate and postgraduate experience has strengthened my suitability to tutor Biology. I am passionate about the subject and want to convey this passion to students, helping them to succeed in GCSE and A Level exams.
I am based in Liverpool and I primarily tutor online but can discuss in-person sessions on an individual basis.
