About Rachael
I am currently getting my PhD in neuroscience, and previously I attained a masters in neuroscience, and a bachelor's degree in biology and psychology.
I have spent 8 years tutoring students in biology, psychology, neuroscience, chemistry, and english courses from high school to graduate school.
In 2018, I was also certified at Boston University in Inclusive STEM Teaching to learn how to create a more supportive teaching environment for under-represented groups.

My lessons depend heavily on the needs of the student and the course level. For example, high school students often need help working through and understanding homework assignments. College students often need help understanding principles or concepts in their courses.
I typically ask students to send me any reference material ahead of time, so I can look through what they are working on and get a sense of what we need to go over.
