About Lily
I offer a supportive, relaxed space where we can work together to strengthen your writing. My aim is to help you build skills and confidence at your own pace, using an approach that suits your learning style, because everyone learns differently.
Alongside teaching, I work as a freelance report writer in health policy, which means I’m experienced in adapting writing style for a wide range of audiences. I have just submitted my PhD in Health Psychology and Behaviour, and I also hold a Master’s in Public Health and an undergraduate degree in Music, giving me a unique blend of analytical and creative thinking.
I’m particularly passionate about supporting students, including those who are neurodivergent, in finding their voice and confidence in academic writing. Having navigated the ups and downs of thesis writing myself, I know how valuable patient, personalised support can be.

I am also happy to offer proof reading services, using our lesson slots to provide comments on your work relating to its content, flow, structure, and grammar to help refine your work.
