About Karan
I am an economics PhD student at the University of Chicago. I hold two master's degrees, both with distinction, the first being in mathematical modelling and scientific computing from the University of Oxford, and the second in economics from the University of Edinburgh. In addition, I have three years of professional experience in working as an economist for a leading sustainability/climate-change focused consultancy based in London (Vivid Economics).

I have over 500 hours of teaching experience over the past 8 years, spanning a broad array of subjects including economics, mathematics, physics, computing and programming. I have previously taught GCSE, A-level and undergraduate students (of mathematics and economics), students preparing for aptitude tests (e.g. GRE, GMAT, SAT) or subject based entrance tests (e.g. STEP, AEA).
I am comfortable in working with students with varying needs, and I am happy to adjust my teaching style to that which is most suitable for the client.
