About Joseph
I have been a private tutor since 2011, teaching in one of the most demanding curricula in the world (Singapore) and still am teaching it. I also have extensive experience with IGCSE/IB students in Singapore. I have experience and adaptability, having also tutored Students from the United States and China (Shanghai) under their respective syllabuses.
I impart understanding and diligence, which is the key to learning. In doing so, I have raised grades from failing to distinctions in my career.

My teaching method is based on understanding, which is a key component to learning. Through my lessons, I impart the above, which is further reinforced by practice to ensure maximum mastery of the subject.
I am primarily online. I am currently based in Eastbourne , East Sussex (UK). If you are in the area, perhaps we can arrange a regular schedule at yours.
I have successfully completed my PhD at the University of Birmingham. I was developing Maths formulae in my research, so I "get" Maths. And I teach this understanding to my students that will serve them well not only in Maths, but also applied in other areas of life as well.
I am currently teaching Maths and Statistics full-time at the University of Brighton at the International College division.
