About Amy
I have taught in US schools such as Providence College, Western Illinois, and Eastern Kentucky University. I also worked for several years at a New Zealand University. My PhD is in political science. I have won three teaching awards and enjoy high rankings on student evaluations, especially in terms of responsiveness to and respect for students.

My teaching method combines a focus on key facts with student creativity and expression. I believe each student can excel and encourage students to find topics of interest in the study area. I have twenty years' experience teaching in both the USA and abroad and enjoy both F2F and online learning platforms. A typical lesson plan will begin with a short overview of the subject and then be led by student questions and participation. My lessons are targeted to high school students and college undergraduates.
