About Tahira
I hold PhD degree in Psychology and I have more eight years of experience in teaching and research. I am available to provide online classes in psychology and sociology subjects (Research methodology , Sociology, Social Psychology, Cross-cultural Psychology, and Mental Health and Psychopathology, Psychology of Women and Couple Therapy, Scientific Writing in Clinical Psychology, and Qualitative and Quantitative Assessment. I can provide online as well as home based classes.I view myself primarily as a facilitator of learning, rather than as an expert who simply delivers information to students. I believe that students do not come to class as blank slates and often bring with them preconceived notions about the field of psychology.As a teacher, I strive to engage, challenges, and inspire growth in my students. However, before I can challenge them to think differently, I must first help my students see the relevance of psychological concepts in their lives. I bring psychology to life by providing examples students can grasp based on what they know of the world. Demonstrations and activities are used to help students “see, feel, and touch” what psychology is all about.
