I am a well trained chemist, working in a prestigious higher education university-Imperial College London. I have been volunteered to teach in the college for different departments, such as Chemical Engineering Department, Chemistry Department and Reach-out Group. I have taught first and second year undergraduate students, and A-level students from Harry and Westminster Academy.
Most of my teaching activities are small group discussion and demonstration. I prepare teaching materials, give lectures and demonstrate experiments. I use graphs and videos to explain the concept I want to teach, and design questions to test the students.
I am a very patient teacher; students are very active in my class and not afraid of asking any questions.
I can also provide lesson in Chinese.
I have been given lessons for about 2 years. I have taught about more than 50 undergraduate students , and hundreds of A-level students.
I was awarded the AFHEA (Associate Fellow of Higher Education Academy) for my teaching contribution in University.
