About Clifford
I’m Clifford, a PhD physicist and lifelong science communicator dedicated to helping students see math and physics as clear, logical, and deeply human subjects. Over the years, I’ve taught and mentored learners from middle school to university level, guiding them to move beyond memorization and toward genuine understanding. My professionalism comes from both experience and empathy. I know what it feels like to struggle with a subject that seems impossible — and I know how to make it click. I’m Clifford, a PhD physicist with a passion for making science and mathematics feel intuitive, logical, and even beautiful. My approach begins with understanding how you think — because every student carries a unique map of reasoning. Rather than overwhelm with formulas, I reveal the why behind the math and the story behind the physics.
A typical lesson starts with a short discussion of the core idea, followed by a simple, vivid example — often from everyday life or a real scientific context. We then work through problems together, moving from basic to advanced levels until the concept feels natural. I emphasize visualization, analogy, and clear language. Equations appear only when they clarify, never when they confuse.
What sets me apart is my ability to connect abstract theory with the tangible world — to show how a calculus limit describes a falling raindrop, or how energy conservation governs a heartbeat. Students often tell me they finally see what their textbooks only hinted at.
