About Mohammed
Welcome to my page :) I'm Dr. Moh, a PhD-trained scientist and adjunct professor who genuinely enjoys helping students understand challenging material and feel confident in their abilities.
I hold a PhD in Materials Science & Engineering and have taught chemistry, physics, math, and data analysis at the college level, in addition to working in industry at companies like Becton Dickinson (BD) and Kenvue (formerly JNJ Consumer). Over the years, I’ve learned that students succeed most when lessons are clear, structured, and encouraging, not rushed or intimidating.
My teaching style is patient and concept-focused. I break topics down step by step, connect ideas to real-world examples, and adapt each lesson to how you learn best. Whether you’re catching up, preparing for an exam, or aiming to strengthen your foundation, I work with you at your pace in a low-stress environment.
I believe mistakes are part of learning, questions are always welcome, and confidence can be built with the right guidance. I’d be happy to help you reach your goals.

My lessons are structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s learning style and goals. I focus on building understanding step by step, starting with core concepts and then applying them through guided practice and real examples. I believe learning works best in a low-stress environment where questions are encouraged and mistakes are part of the process.
A typical lesson begins with a quick check-in to identify areas of difficulty or goals for the session, followed by clear explanations and hands-on problem solving. I adjust the pace as needed and make sure students leave each session with a stronger grasp of the material and a clear path forward.
My lessons are well-suited for elementary through college-level students in math, science, probability, data analysis, and academic writing, as well as anyone looking to strengthen their fundamentals or build confidence. What sets me apart is my ability to break down complex topics into simple, logical steps while keeping students engaged and motivated.

Perfect! Moh is an outstanding teacher with a clear, structured approach that makes learning feel simple and efficient. I used to feel lost in certain science topics, but with Moh’s help, I’ve been able to understand concepts better than ever before. I highly recommend Moh to anyone looking to learn science faster and more effectively
