About Ivaxi
I am currently pursuing PhD at Mila in Computer Science, specifically Artificial Intelligence under Turing Awardee's research institute. I graduated with high marks from top 10 university in the world, Imperial College London. I have tutored as a TA and 1-1 in Maths and Physics.

I appreciate that learning styles differ massively between students, therefore I match my teaching approach to the individual student.
My lessons consist of a guided, iterative buildup of concepts: we first identify the general areas in which there is a lack of confidence, then we answer questions to hone in on more specific points of misunderstanding, aiming to build a strong sense of independence and confidence in the subject area.
I will listen to the topics you don't feel comfortable with and figure out where your gaps in understanding are, building a solid foundation in knowledge to allow you to gain confidence and learn more complex topics.
My experience involves three years of private one-on-one teaching as well as teaching in small groups ranging from students aged 5 to undergraduate level. My teaching style is actively engaging so as to bring out the best in my students and to show them what they are capable of.
I would recommend sessions of 1 hour.
