About Elena

My name is Elena, a PhD student located in Kingston, ON. With a passion for teaching, I am eager to help others improve their scientific writing and proficiency in a variety of science-related topics. In addition, I am available for tutoring high school level sciences, specifically biology (I received the highest grade in biology at my high school and it is one of my favourite subjects). For undergraduate students, I have expertise in the Life Sciences, as I completed a specialization in Neuroscience in this program and continued to complete the accelerated Master's program with a perfect GPA. I am currently in the process of completing my PhD focused on Neuroscience and nutritional approaches to psychiatry. I am looking forward to meeting you and helping you reach your goals! :)

About the lesson

I am here to help with a variety of science-related high school subjects, specifically biology. I have strategies to ace a variety of Life Sciences and Neuroscience courses in addition to the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT). I am also here to read and provide extensive and detailed feedback on scientific reports and papers.

My teaching is done with a personalized lens to address my students' strengths and weakness, allowing them to reach and exceed their academic goals on a time frame that we can create together.
