About Matthew
Hi! My name is Matthew, and I am a medical student at McGill University currently completing a PhD in molecular neuroscience. I previously completed an undergraduate degree majoring in psychology, and a master's degree in pathology. My research interest is focused on the treatment of neurological disorders, and the development of new therapies for injuries to the brain and spinal cord. I also have an interest in science communication and professional writing! Throughout my undergraduate and graduate studies, I have been dedicated to supporting students through tutoring, academic advising, and assisting with applications for professional schools and competitive scholarships. In working with these students, I have often found that they possess more talent and insight than they realize, and I enjoy helping them to better realize these abilities. I have been tutoring students since 2012 in elementary to university-level mathematics, biological and natural sciences, and professional writing. I enjoy working with students of all ages and at all levels, to help them to achieve their full potential. I am currently accepting students looking for assistance with middle school or high school biology and those looking to improve their academic writing for scholarship or professional school applications.
