About Angus
I am a third year undergraduate Philosophy and Theology student at the University of Oxford. Having been in a rigorous academic environment all my life, I have learnt the hard way what it takes to succeed academically and I am grateful for the opportunity to help others excel throughout their time at school and in their exams. I believe that my experience of the Tutorial system has given me the skills required to explain complex ideas in the simple and efficient manner necessary for quality teaching. Having studied a broad range of subjects I also have various sets of learning resources at my disposal which have helped me throughout my education and which I am willing to give to students if they will find them helpful.

In a teaching environment I always hope to engage with the student's individual concerns. I will generally have prepared some notes on a pre-determined topic which I will send to the student and use to explain key points in a clear and precise manner, while answering any specific questions the student might have. Alternatively, I might ask students to prepare a piece of work which we might discuss together during the lesson. Where exams are concerned, I find that past papers offer invaluable practice and so often these will be used as a springboard for discussions.
