About Alice
I have been giving lessons for 7 months to student/s in preparation for GCSEs. I attained two 8's in GCSE English Literature and Language and have had firsthand experience in the new system. I am awaiting grades from past students!

As English is based on a subjective system (there aren't any particular right or wrong answers) I prefer to assess the student's current technique, talk about what they think could be better and the aim is to find easy quick ways (that they will remember!) to pick up marks throughout the papers. Then, to implement these in various tasks and essays is essential. I work very closely with the A01, A02, A03 marking system that is imposed by various exam boards and try to ensure the student genuinely has a better understanding of the techniques so they can use them throughout their careers (as opposed to recalling them just for the exam)
