About Matthew
I achieved a D2 grade (A*) in my Cambridge Pre U GCE Course at Hampton School. I am in my final year of studying Philosophy at the University of Bristol and am predicted to graduate with a high 2:1 grade. I have a real passion for the subject and hope to continue with postgraduate studies in my particular area of interest. I have experience in tutoring general studies, such as Maths and English also, for younger students. However, I achieved A* grades in both Psychology and English Literature at GCE, so feel capable in tutoring in these subjects to a high level as well.

My teaching methodology is to first create a comfortable learning environment, where the student feels able to ask questions confidently and freely. I explain things in detail and with great clarity, encouraging engagement from the student as much as possible. As well as being thorough and rigorous, I want the student to enjoy the subject in the same way I do.
