About Peter
I enjoy tutoring and have had the privilege of helping my nephews, nieces and the children of friends to understand aspects of maths and science that they were unsure of.
I have a PhD and BSc in Physics, both from Imperial College, London. My A-levels were in Physics, Maths and Chemistry (all grade A). I now work in IT, however in the past I have been a postdoc at Imperial College. While there, I helped students in classwork exercises. I was also a voluntary classroom assistant in a secondary school, while a 3rd year undergraduate. I have an enhanced DBS certificate.

Not sure about gravity? Forces confusing you? Vectors vexing you? My lessons are aimed at helping you revise and understand physics concepts that you may be unsure of.
Initially we will discuss your goals and the areas that you seek more clarity on and then we will set up a timetable of lessons for you, which we will review and update, as needed. Lesson length could be up to 2 hours, dependant on your schedule and they will be held online.
Recommendations
Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the teacher
My daughter had been falling behind at school and was lacking motivation. Peter helped her to understand aspects of computing and motivated her to study more. He had an engaging and patient manner and took the time to understand her interests and worked with her to create a program to help her develop her computing skills.
Peter helped my daughter with extra math lessons. She was struggling in class , but Peter made it very clear and easy to follow and help her understand so much easier. Highly recommended if your son/daughter needs extra help after school.
Peter has been tutoring three of my children for many years. He is adept at teaching all ages, and is considerate and patient with his students. All of my kids would have fallen behind in mathematics if we hadn't had Peter's help.
