About Briar
My interest in Physics began at a young age when I became fascinated by how scientific laws explain motion, energy, and the structure of the universe. This curiosity eventually led me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics followed by a Master’s Degree in Applied Physics, where I developed deeper understanding of mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and modern scientific theory. Over the past 8 years, I have worked closely with students from different academic backgrounds and learning styles, helping them develop stronger conceptual understanding and problem-solving confidence. Teaching Physics has allowed me to combine analytical thinking with meaningful mentorship. I enjoy transforming difficult concepts into clear and approachable lessons that students can understand comfortably. My goal has always been to make scientific learning feel less intimidating and more rewarding for learners at every level. I believe strong teaching requires patience, flexibility, and the ability to explain ideas from multiple perspectives. Every student learns differently, and I adapt my approach carefully to support their growth. Helping students overcome fear and confusion in Physics remains one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
My teaching style focuses heavily on clarity, encouragement, and structured explanation. I avoid rushing through lessons because I believe true understanding develops through patience and consistent reinforcement. During sessions, I use diagrams, examples, visual breakdowns, and real-world connections to make abstract scientific ideas easier to grasp. I encourage students to think independently while also providing steady guidance whenever they feel uncertain. Students often appreciate the calm atmosphere I create because it allows them to ask questions freely and participate without fear of judgement. I also help learners improve organisation, exam preparation, and analytical writing skills alongside conceptual understanding. Many students I work with gradually become more confident not only in Physics but also in approaching academic challenges generally. I value building trust with learners because confidence grows more naturally in supportive environments. Over the years, I have guided students preparing for school examinations, competitive entrance tests, and advanced university-level studies. Watching learners progress from uncertainty to confidence continues to inspire me deeply as an educator.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring Physics through scientific reading, research discussions, educational resources, and developments in modern technology and space science. Staying connected to current discoveries helps me keep lessons fresh, relevant, and intellectually engaging for students. I enjoy learning about astrophysics, renewable energy systems, quantum research, and scientific innovation because these fields show how Physics continues shaping the future of society. These interests often influence my lessons by helping students see the practical value of scientific understanding beyond textbooks and examinations. I believe education becomes much more meaningful when students understand how knowledge connects to real life and future possibilities. Teaching has shown me that confidence often grows gradually through encouragement, patience, and steady progress. I take pride in supporting students not only academically but also emotionally throughout their learning journey. My aim is always to help learners become curious, disciplined, and self-assured thinkers who feel capable of solving complex challenges independently. Physics is not simply about equations to me—it is a powerful way of understanding the world with clarity, logic, and curiosity.

Physics becomes far more meaningful when students can connect equations and theories to situations they experience in daily life. My lessons focus on helping learners understand how motion, energy, forces, electricity, and waves shape the world around them through calm explanation and structured guidance. I break down difficult concepts into manageable ideas so students can build confidence steadily instead of feeling overwhelmed by formulae. Every session encourages curiosity, logical thinking, and active participation. I use examples from technology, nature, transportation, sports, and everyday observations to make abstract concepts easier to visualise and understand. Students are encouraged to ask questions openly and explore concepts step by step without pressure. I also include problem-solving strategies that improve accuracy while strengthening conceptual understanding. Whether a learner struggles with fundamentals or wants advanced support, I adapt the pace and style carefully to fit their goals. My lessons create a balanced environment where students improve academically while also developing stronger reasoning habits. Over time, learners become more independent and comfortable approaching difficult questions. I aim to make Physics feel approachable, rewarding, and intellectually exciting for every student.
Each lesson is carefully organised to support steady progress while keeping learning engaging and practical. Beginners focus on understanding core principles such as motion, force, momentum, and simple electrical systems through diagrams, visual explanation, and guided practice. Intermediate students work on applying formulae, analysing experiments, solving numerical problems, and improving interpretation skills. Advanced learners refine derivations, multi-step calculations, theoretical applications, and examination techniques. I also help students strengthen graph interpretation, unit analysis, and scientific reasoning so they can solve questions with greater confidence and precision. Practice exercises are selected thoughtfully to match the learner’s current level while gradually increasing complexity. I believe students learn best when concepts are explained patiently before difficult questions are introduced. During lessons, I regularly review earlier topics to strengthen retention and reduce confusion between concepts. I encourage students to explain their thinking aloud because it helps reveal strengths and misunderstandings clearly. Over time, learners become more organised in their approach to solving Physics problems. This process helps them gain confidence and long-term understanding instead of relying on memorisation alone.
My teaching approach also focuses strongly on emotional confidence and intellectual growth because many students initially feel intimidated by Physics. I work carefully to create a calm and encouraging environment where learners feel supported throughout the learning process. Students who once struggled with confidence often begin approaching problems more independently after building stronger conceptual foundations. I help learners understand that mistakes are part of scientific learning and not signs of failure. This supportive atmosphere allows students to become more patient, analytical, and resilient while improving academically. I also encourage learners to connect Physics with future goals in engineering, medicine, technology, research, and scientific innovation. As students begin understanding the logic behind equations and scientific laws, they often become more curious about the world around them. My lessons are designed not only to improve grades but also to strengthen critical thinking and intellectual discipline. I want students to leave each session feeling more capable, motivated, and prepared to tackle new challenges confidently. Physics becomes much more enjoyable when learners realise they are fully capable of understanding even the most difficult ideas through patience and consistent practice.
