About Daphne

In these physics lessons, we focus on the core principles of energy to make complex ideas clear and practical. My systematic approach breaks down topics like thermodynamics, heat transfer, states of matter, and gas laws into simple, understandable concepts. Using engaging analogies and real-life examples, we explore how energy flows in everyday systems, from engines to household appliances. You’ll receive consistent feedback to track your progress and deepen your understanding at every step. Whether your goal is experimenting, inventing, or solving real-world problems, the lessons are designed to help you excel. Abstract theories become tangible through hands-on examples and clear explanations. Together, we build a strong foundation in energy transformations that supports learning in advanced physics topics. By connecting principles to practical applications, you’ll gain confidence in tackling challenging problems. Lessons are structured to be clear, interactive, and relevant, ensuring concepts stick long-term. Step by step, you’ll develop the skills to analyse, predict, and understand energy in any system. The goal is to make learning physics both exciting and empowering. With guidance and practice, mastering the principles of energy becomes achievable and enjoyable.

About the lesson

I’m a Physics tutor with over 8 years of experience and a BSc in Biophysics. My passion is applied optics, and I love helping students explore concepts like fibre optics and microscopy. Together, we dive into light propagation and total internal reflection, making these ideas tangible and easy to understand. I guide students through lens design and image formation, showing how theory translates into practical systems. I use real-world examples from telecommunications to explain how fibre optics carry information over long distances. In biomedical imaging, I demonstrate how microscopes reveal details invisible to the naked eye. My lessons are designed to bridge theory and practice, helping students see the relevance of physics in everyday technology. I’ve guided many future engineers and medical device developers, tailoring sessions to their specific goals. I focus on building strong foundations that empower students to tackle complex challenges confidently. Whether it’s designing optical systems or understanding light behaviour in microscopes, I make learning engaging and practical. Together, we transform abstract principles into real-world understanding.
