About Hannah

I have been playing the piano for about 18 years, and have 10 years experience teaching private piano lessons as well as beginner violin lessons. I recently graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with a B.A. in music and a concentration in piano performance.

About the lesson

I teach mainly using classical music as a basis for learning pianistic techniques. The use of the piano to learn to read music is very important as this provides a strong foundation that may apply to any other instrument. I also encourage my students to choose their own songs to learn from any genre. I can also provide additional help for students who already have a teacher or are in school music programs such as music theory classes or lessons.
