About Gregory
Having been a member of the Musicians’ Union for over 21 years, I have seen many changes, both positive and negative, in the music industry. I hold a PhD in music from the University of London and teach piano and music theory to children (not younger than 5 years) and adults at all levels. As much as possible I endeavour to make my lessons fun, interesting and educational. I specialise in the Russian romantics, ethnic music (especially of East Asia), New Age and rare-heard piano music, together with having a keen interest in jazz, ragtime and the novelty genre. I am also a church organist and play regularly at several churches in the South West London area. Apart from my private tuition in person I am also able to offer online lessons via Zoom both in this country and anywhere in the world.
