About Shara
Music felt like the only language I could speak fluently even as a child. After completing my Master of Music at the Royal Academy of Music, I realised that technical skills like CHORD VOICING and DYNAMICS AND EXPRESSION are just the start of the journey.
I have taught 456 students over 13 years, ranging from absolute novices to those aiming for professional performance levels. Teaching is a conversation. Whether we focus on JAZZ IMPROVISATION or POP AND CONTEMPORARY styles, I emphasise proper POSTURE AND HAND POSITION to avoid strain. I keep things simple.

Have you ever wondered how to make your accompaniment skills truly shine during a performance? During our time together, we focus on the physical sensation of playing while applying my training from the Royal Academy of Music. We prioritise a deep understanding of rhythm so you feel confident playing in any musical setting. I provide 6.0 rated guidance to help you navigate complex musical textures with ease.
You will find my approach relies on steady, clear communication about your progress. My 13 years of teaching ensures that I can explain difficult concepts in a way that makes sense. I truly love helping you develop a unique voice at the keys
