About Winfred
Playing since age 7, I walked onto a public stage at 9 and never looked back. You might be returning to the keys after 13 years, so I prioritize rebuilding technique without dwelling on lost time. My 13 years of teaching range from total beginners to diploma candidates, keeping our focus sharp.
I hold a DMA in Piano Performance from Eastman School of Music, which informs my precise approach to posture and hand position. Whether you want to master sight playing or ear training, we tackle the fundamentals with discipline. My goal is to help you to discover your own musical voice.

Progress moves faster when we stop obsessing over perfection and start tracking actual benchmarks. I send a formal progress tracker to parents every month, ensuring transparency for every student aged 8.0 and above.
Feedback is constant, immediate, and direct. Technique forms the bedrock of our sessions, integrating sight transposition and ear training into every piece. We also handle ABRSM and Trinity exam prep with a systematic schedule. Balancing these heavy requirements with artistic improving your accompaniment skills makes the learning process rewarding.
