About Gavin
I am an experienced Piano instructor with 9 years of teaching experience. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals who want to develop strong Piano skills and a deeper understanding of music.
My teaching style combines structured learning with creativity. I customize every lesson to suit the student's goals, abilities, and interests, creating a comfortable environment where learning becomes enjoyable and productive.
My lessons include piano techniques, scales, chords, rhythm training, sight reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, performance preparation, and finger exercises. I focus on helping students build technical accuracy while expressing themselves through music.
In addition to Piano, I teach keyboard skills and basic music theory. These subjects help students become confident musicians with a complete understanding of music.
I enjoy helping students achieve steady progress and celebrate every milestone. My goal is to inspire students to enjoy learning and continue growing throughout their musical journey.

I believe that every piano student deserves personal attention and a learning experience that is enjoyable and motivating. My teaching style combines communication, creativity, flexibility, and structured practice to help students achieve their musical goals.
Lessons begin with building a strong technical foundation through posture, finger control, rhythm exercises, note reading, and music theory. Once students become comfortable with these basics, I introduce scales, chords, dynamics, expression, sight reading, and performance techniques step by step.
I explain every lesson in simple English using practical demonstrations and examples. Students are encouraged to ask questions, practice regularly, and understand each concept before moving forward. This creates confidence and long-term learning instead of short-term memorization.
To keep learning interesting, I include songs from different musical styles based on the student's interests. Students also improve creativity through basic improvisation, accompaniment, and musical interpretation.
Along with piano, I teach keyboard skills, music theory, ear training, rhythm development, performance preparation, sight reading, and music appreciation. These additional subjects help students become well-rounded musicians.
My aim is to make every lesson enjoyable, productive, and inspiring while helping students develop confidence, discipline, creativity, and a lifelong passion for music.
