About Nella
I discovered my love for piano in childhood and have spent eight years teaching students of all ages and levels. Helping learners develop technical skill while nurturing creativity and expressive freedom is incredibly rewarding. Teaching piano allows me to guide students toward mastery, performance confidence, and an authentic connection with music. I teach with patience, encouragement, and adaptability, tailoring lessons to each student’s goals, pace, and interests. I emphasize both technical skill and artistic expression, integrating structured practice, improvisation, and performance opportunities to ensure students progress steadily while remaining inspired. Outside teaching, I perform in ensembles, compose, and explore new repertoire to keep lessons fresh and stimulating. Teaching piano is a passion that allows me to share the joy, discipline, and expressive power of music, while helping students gain confidence, creativity, and lifelong skills that extend far beyond the instrument.

Piano lessons are designed to balance technical development with expressive freedom, fostering both skill and creativity. Each session combines exercises for finger technique, rhythm, and sight-reading with repertoire exploration and creative expression, encouraging students to connect emotionally with music. I emphasize structured practice, musicality, and performance skills to ensure learners develop both competence and confidence.
Beginners focus on posture, hand positioning, basic note reading, and rhythm exercises, learning pieces that inspire and motivate. Intermediate students work on finger strength, articulation, phrasing, and style while exploring classical, jazz, and contemporary repertoire. Advanced learners refine musical expression, dynamics, tone, and performance preparation, with opportunities for ensemble playing, auditions, or recitals. Ear training, composition, and theory are integrated to develop well-rounded musicianship.
Students often describe lessons as motivating, enjoyable, and transformative. Beyond technique, they gain confidence, discipline, creativity, and self-expression. My goal is to help learners experience the joy of music while achieving mastery, growth, and a lifelong appreciation for the piano.
