About Matthew
I am a high school teacher and pianist with 10+ years of teaching experience. I have an 8th grade AMEB in performance piano and 6th grade Musicianship. I love music of all styles and I'm also pretty easygoing, so let me know what you want out of a lesson and I should be able to accommodate.

I teach ages 5 and up, and genuinely believe anyone can learn how to play the piano. I teach holistically, and I believe in giving my students an understanding of music theory and aural skills. I am also available to teach AMEB grades if you are interested in pursuing them. Whether you want to learn classical, contemporary, blues or jazz, I can give you what you need to start your musical journey.
