About Sage
My connection with the piano began through a deep appreciation for musical expression and artistic storytelling. This passion inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Music before earning a PhD in Piano Education and Performance. During my 12 years of teaching experience, I have guided students through a wide variety of musical journeys.
I believe successful teaching combines patience, structure, and encouragement. My teaching approach focuses on helping learners understand music while building practical performance abilities. I enjoy creating lessons that challenge students in a positive and motivating way.
Outside teaching, I continue studying piano repertoire, attending performances, and researching effective teaching methods. These experiences help me bring fresh ideas into the learning environment. Helping students discover their musical potential remains one of the most meaningful parts of my profession.

My piano lessons focus on building strong musical foundations while encouraging creativity and enjoyment. We work on note reading, rhythm control, finger independence, hand coordination, sight reading, and listening skills through structured exercises and carefully selected music. Every lesson helps students develop confidence and consistency.
As students continue progressing, we explore harmony, accompaniment patterns, phrasing techniques, dynamic shaping, pedal control, repertoire development, and performance preparation. Lessons are customized to match individual goals and learning styles, creating a personalized path toward improvement. Regular guidance helps learners strengthen both technique and musical understanding.
I believe piano education should inspire lifelong enjoyment of music while developing discipline and skill. My goal is to help students become confident musicians who can express themselves freely through performance. Every lesson supports growth, creativity, and lasting achievement.
