About Chen
Graduated master in piano performance from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, I'm a classically trained pianist since the age of 6. The Romantic period and Russian post-romantic era have been my focus for years, my repertoire includes solo, vocal accompaniment, piano trio, piano quartet, two piano works. Before my conservatoire studies, I was teaching in Malaysia for 15 months. During that period of teaching, three of them have achieved distinction in their Grade 8 piano exam and one has passed diploma.

I believe the lesson should be fun and progressive, apart from the piano practice I will also provide essential aural training and music board games to keep the lesson always refreshing and mindful. I'm flexible to work with different goals from the lesson, whether it is prepare for an exam or as an hobby.

Sim is professional and with good sense of humour
Chen is a good tutor. He is very capable and friendly in playing and teaching.
He is the best piano tutor I ever known
Sim is a passionate person especially in music, he makes complicated topic into something easy and simple for student. His lesson often is productive as he gives the right amount of work for student which is just alright to push and stretch their skill.
