I am a teacher with over 15 years of experience at Primary and Secondary Schools. I have been providing private piano tutoring for the last 10 years, teaching mainly primary pupils and some teenagers. The lessons are structured according to a tutee's ability and age.

Every lesson structure matches the tutee's age and development stage. A thoughtful framework helps you stay organised. Different year group tutees will have different attention spans, goals, and learning needs. Teaching preschool piano requires a very different approach from teaching older beginners. Children in this age group learn best through movement, imagination, repetition, and hands-on discovery. Long explanations rarely work well, so it is important to keep lessons short, playful, and constantly moving. Sample: 30 min. for preschoolers.
